Funding and Fees

As a registered charity, the pre-school must raise it's own funds. At present, the majority of our funding comes from the government which is available to all children in the term following their 3rd birthday. It is called the Early Years Entitlement (EYE).

As children can start attending the pre-school from the age of 2½, parents may be  required to pay fees for the initial few weeks or months prior to their child becoming eligible for funding. These fees are due termly, in advance. The EYE entitles children to receive 15 hours at a pre-school per week over 38 weeks per year.

Chudleigh Pre-school currently offers places over 38 weeks so you will be able to access your full funding entitlement with us because we try to ensure our term dates coincide with those of Chudleigh Primary School.

Fees for children who are not eligibel for funding or who use all their funding elsewhere are £3.62 per hour.
